Travel is one of those things that naturally gives rise to queries, concerns and doubts, so we’re here to put your mind at ease. Which trip is right for me? What do I do about visas? How much do I tip? Should I have banh mi or pho for lunch? For questions frequent and otherwise, this is the spot.

 

 

  • Travelling solo

    As a solo traveller, you will be paired up with another passenger of the same gender as per your passport information. If you are not comfortable sharing a room with someone of the same gender, you also have the choice to pay for a single supplement (available on the majority of our trips). If you do not identify with the gender assigned on your passport, please let us know at the time of booking and we'll arrange the rooming configuration accordingly.

  • Local Tipping

    We know that tipping can be a hassle, so we take care of the tipping for you. Your tour leader pays for all tips for drivers, local guides, and hotel staff only. Restaurant tips are not included nor tips for your tour leader. Please check the essential information for the tour leaders' tips.

  • Is a minimum and maximum age for traveling with us

    Yes One World Adventures is a travel company for people aged 30-49. Exemptions will be made for partners within 5 years of the 30-49 providing the primary guest is within the range. When booking , ensure the qualifying person is listed first then add the second after that.

  • Do I need travel insurance?

    Travel insurance is compulsory for all travellers and should be taken out at the time of booking. You must provide proof of your travel insurance on the first day of your trip; you will not be able to join the trip without it.

  • What does my travel insurance policy need to cover?

    Your travel insurance must provide cover against adventure activities, personal accident, death, medical expenses and emergency repatriation with a recommended minimum coverage of US $200,000 for each categories of cover. We also recommend it covers cancellation, curtailment, personal liability and loss of luggage and personal effects. You alone are wholly responsible for arranging your insurance. The period of cover should start no later than the date you make your booking with us.

  • How do I make changes to my booking

    If you wish to make any changes to your booking, please let us know as soon as possible. All requests for changes should be referred to readytotravel@oneworldadventures.com and must be in writing.

  • How do I cancel or transfer my booking?

    Booking your next adventure is a big deal. That's why One World Adventures offers freedom and flexibility every step of the way. Cancel your booking up to 30 days before your departure. We will refund your money minus your deposit and transfer your deposit to another trip (or hold it on file with no cost to you).

  • Can I pay my next adventure in instalments?

    Once you have picked your next adventure and paid your deposit pay the rest in instalments whenever, it suits you as long as it's paid off within 30 days from your trip Departure date.

  • When do I have to pay my trip by?

    The balance of your payment is due 30 days before departure your invoice will show the date your final balance is due. If you have booked with One World Adventure a reminder will be sent 5 days before your due date.   • Passport details

    For many holidays we need your passport details and sometimes other personal information. This might be for registration with the local authorities or for border crossings. A number of airlines, now also require full passport information, known as Advanced Passenger Information, or APIS. If your passport details change before travel, you must provide us with the new details.

  • Invoices and booking confirmation

    Once you have paid the deposit for your tour, our sales team will email you your booking confirmation and invoice within 2 business days. When you have received your confirmation, please check the information carefully to make sure that we have booked the arrangements you requested. If any of the information is incorrect please contact us at readytotravel@oneworldadventures.com so we can make the necessary corrections to your booking

  • 4 Weeks before travel

    You’ve done the hard part and paid the final balance, now you can start looking forward to going. one of our friendly staff will be in touch with you 4 weeks before travel. They will include the latest copy of the trip notes and a hotel list. If there are any last-minute arrangements you need to make or questions you might have, just let them know and they'll be happy to look into it for you.

  • Joining the tour

    The starting point of your tour will be the first-night accommodation where there will be a group meeting at 6 pm to discuss the finer points of your tour. Our tours come with a complimentary arrival transfer (only available on the start date of your trip or if you booked pre-departure accommodation throw us) to receive this service you need to send an email with flight detail time and date to readytotravel@onewroldadventures.com 14 days before your trip departs. You should be aware that if your flight is delayed, your transfer will not wait for you indefinitely (we usually set a maximum waiting period of 30 minutes beyond the scheduled arrival time) and you will be responsible for the cost of your onward travel arrangements to reach the trip's starting point. booking our flights.

  • My application says I need a letter of invitation or other supporting documentation, do you provide these?

    There are certain destinations, such as Central Asia and Iran, where you will need support documentation from One World Adventures in order to apply for your visa. The 'visa section' of your Trip Notes will include information about what you need to send to us (scanned passports, employment letters, etc.

  • Passport Requirements

    All travelers require a valid passport this should be valid for six months after the date of your scheduled return home.

  • Visa information

    How do I find out about the visa requirements for the trip I am interested in? While we do include information in our Essential information about visa requirements, we always recommend that passengers check with their local embassy as visa rules can change without warning. Embassy websites in your home country will always have information about requirements, visa costs and will provide the required forms.

  • What happens if something comes up and I need to change my date?

    Plans sometimes change, so if you wish to change your group date after making a booking then just let us know at least 30 days before the start date and we will move you to any available group. If you have to change dates for reasons outside of your control within 30 days of the start of your tour then administrative fees will apply and any date change will only be subject to availability.
